Johan Pham

Johan (28) has a passion for creating awareness around the daily wonders that psychology and philosophy bring. He expresses this through his art, as a way to reflect on and explore these thoughts.

His style is a combination of figurative art and perspectives that help to give the compositions a flow, either in a dramatic or harmonious direction. One of the series projects he is working on today is called WonderChair. This is a series that explores individuals reflecting on specific thoughts or wonders.

These questions express the individuals' physical or psychological state in a specific environment. The chairs are always part of the works and symbolize the position the individual is in. The surroundings around the chair also play an important role, where perspective, angles and the use of strong or calm colors depict the underlying feelings of wonder.

The wonders in the series reflect much of what we relate to today, such as the human interaction with the complexity of life and the universe, what these have to offer and the challenges they present.
