"Full Immersion challenges the intersection between technology and reality, between the digital and the natural. The artwork questions what we sacrifice in the pursuit of all-consuming digital experiences - and what is right in front of us while we are busy being somewhere else. Children grow up in a world where technology shapes their perception of reality. What happens when the boundaries between the physical and the virtual blur? How does this affect their relationship with nature, with each other - and with themselves? By manipulating an older landscape painting with modern spray techniques, a contrast between past and future arises. The nature that was once self-evident becomes a background for a new layer of reality. But what is really real? And who decides what is worth watching? Full Immersion is a reflection on how we sense and interact with the world - and how our choices today shape the future of those who come after us."
