Idis
IIdis is an artist from Bergen who has turned her passion for painting and drawing into a full-time job. She creates art that is emotional and daring, mixing realism with abstraction. Her works draw inspiration from street art and pop art, and are often portraits with repeated motifs such as monkeys and faces where she conveys stories through looks, colors and patterns. Through her art, she explores themes such as identity, society and human nature with both humor and depth.
She has sold pictures at Frame it in Åsane, in her own pop-up gallery in Øvregaten and now wants to open her own gallery where she will sell her art and that of others in Jon Smørs gate in Bergen.
