
Shadi
Shadi Alzaqzouq, a Palestinian artist born in 1981 in Benghazi, Libya, where he spent a large part of his childhood with his family before returning to Gaza (Palestine), after the Oslo Accords (1993).
His training : after studying classical music, he turned to visual arts and won in 2006 "The Young Artist of the Year Award" (YAYA), a visual arts competition of the Palestinian Al Qattan Foundation and the French Consulate in Jerusalem, followed by a residency at the Cité Internationale des Arts in Paris, during which he completed his training in visual arts. He obtained a degree in Plastic Arts from the University of Paris 8 in 2010, he worked as a professor of plastic arts at the municipal school of Saint-Denis from 2009 to 2012. He obtained a National Diploma in Plastic Expression at the European School of Art of Brittany in Lorient, France in 2024.
His career: numerous personal and group exhibitions in France where he lives, in the Netherlands, Korea, Tunisia, Syria, the United Arab Emirates and Palestine.
